Job Title: Cleaning Operative

Join the Eric Wright Group, a leading provider of construction and property services, as a Cleaning Operative. This exciting opportunity is available at our NHS Client's site, Victoria Central Hospital, where you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain designated areas, including toilets and shower areas, to the highest standards.
  • Operate powered equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and polishers, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Move items of furniture as required to facilitate cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act, and report any incidents or hazards to the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Assist in other establishments as needed, and attend meetings as requested by the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Pursue personal development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in cleaning and maintenance.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, patients, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • DBS check required.
