Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at Wincanton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Warehouse Team Managers and ensuring the provision of an effective and efficient quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the operation within your daily area of responsibility, overseeing a team of Warehouse Team Managers.
- Be responsible for achieving operational targets, goals, and contractual KPIs to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient quality service to our customers.
- Manage and motivate the team by giving direction and leadership, monitoring performance to ensure the site achieves high performance levels.
- Ensure the site complies with health and safety regulations.
- Manage absence, sickness, and holidays, conduct, and performance in line with the company and site policies and procedures.
- Safety-focused and passionate about the welfare of our people.
- Previous management experience of high-volume warehouse operations, preferably in an automated environment and alongside transport operations would be advantageous.
- Successful delivery of operational and service performance KPIs.
- Experience of people leadership, including direct management.
- Previous experience/knowledge of a WMS management system would be an advantage.
