The Role:We need a talented and experienced Senior Artist who will lead and elevate capture projects, direct teams of junior artists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game capture, project management, and content creation, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Capture high-quality video and stills for trailers, social content, and other applications.
- Lead capture projects and direct teams of junior artists for single-player and multiplayer assets.
- Collaborate with editorial, creative leads, producers, designers, and graphics artists to develop bespoke styles and approaches.
- Manage time effectively and maintain peak efficiency by staying in close contact with project producers and creative leadership.
- Play, explore, and break down game content and tools to understand their capabilities and opportunities.
- Guide, educate, and empower other artists to succeed in current and future projects.
- Work with project producers to ensure projects remain in scope and on schedule.
- 4-6+ years of experience in game capture at an agency or publisher.
- Experience leading a range of projects from solo cinematic single-player trailers to large-scale multiplayer projects.
- Working knowledge of Unreal Sequencer or other equivalent in-engine tools.
- Experience creating detailed documentation for in-game debug tools.
