This is a transformative period for the organisation, as they establish an agile framework and specialised product teams across the business. As the Lead Solutions Architect, you will take ownership of product solution architecture for the underwriting, actuarial, and business functions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure environments, application architecture, middleware, and integration. You will lead the architecture design for applications, integrations, and data solutions that align with business goals and technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support high-level and low-level architecture design for business products
  • Develop strong relationships with Data & Analytics, IT, and Security and Engineering teams
  • Play a leading role in the development of business Architecture Standards and Patterns
  • Ensure and maintain Governance standards are adhered to when developing architectural frameworks

Requirements:

  • Commercial Insurance or London Markets experience is required
  • Experience developing IT architectures across Applications and Data that operate through SaaS
  • Demonstratable experience designing & developing Cloud Solution Architecture, preferably Azure
  • Ability to work in sprints and adopt an agile approach to architecture design
  • Excellent communication, ability to effect change and promote technology solutions across the wider business
