About the RoleWe are seeking a full-time Assistant Psychologist to join our Stroke Psychology and Inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation Service.
Experience of working in stroke or acquired brain injury in an inpatient or hospital setting is desirable. We welcome applicants who wish to work part-time and/or job share.
Main DutiesThe role includes direct clinical work, supporting multi-disciplinary colleagues, training, and assisting the Head of Service with service-related research and audit.
The successful candidate will be passionate about working towards the goal of improving clinical care for persons affected by stroke and have a strong interest in clinical neuropsychology.
Desirable skills include experience and/or interest in neurological conditions, working within multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams, completing neuropsychological assessments, and implementing psychological approaches to supporting adjustment.
Working for BCUHBWe are a large health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute, and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000 across North Wales.
