Senior Governance Adviser

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance Adviser to join our team at Western Power. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining effective governance frameworks, processes, tools, methodologies, and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement governance frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to stakeholders on governance and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
- Drive value in our Safety, Health, and Environment Management System through internal audits and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Review and maintain the Electrical Safety and Risk Management (ESRM) system to ensure compliance with electrical regulations and standards.
We are looking for someone with a degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, Contract Management, or a related discipline. You will have specific knowledge of and demonstrated experience working with economic aspects of electricity transmission and distribution networks, as well as the WA energy market regulatory framework and related Government policies.
You will also have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in project/program management methodologies and tools, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to think strategically, with strong business acumen, comprehensive analytical skills, and exposure to risk management and governance processes.
