Work Scope:
  • Evaluate design packages for electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, motors, generators, switchgear, and control systems.
  • Develop the Project Design Basis Document in accordance with project requirements.
  • Compile comprehensive project load lists based on defined scopes.
  • Create technical reports and specifications for electrical equipment.
  • Support engineering, procurement, and construction activities during the FEED and design phases.
  • Collaborate with project managers to finalize the electrical engineering scope.
  • Analyze major equipment selections within design packages.
  • Address technical and site inquiries effectively.
  • Ensure project execution adheres to client and industry standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance and work quality in coordination with the client's project management team.
  • Verify that contractor designs comply with client standards and regulations.
  • Assist project managers in evaluating material requisitions and technical bids.
  • Review change orders for compliance and budget alignment.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to maintain facility integrity concerning health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Provide technical assurance for electrical discipline deliverables.
  • Propose innovative solutions for installation improvements and modifications.
  • Possess a solid understanding of power system automation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification as a professional engineer is preferred.
  • Experience in design, engineering, and construction is essential.
  • Familiarity with international electrical standards, including NEC, IEEE/ANSI, and IEC.
  • Proficient in analogue and digital control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
  • Strong command of the English language for technical analysis and presentations.
  • Experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
