Position: Terberg Shunter Driver
We are currently seeking Terberg Shunter Drivers for our operations.
Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Yard-based role
Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days
Hourly Rate: £15.88 (plus additional premiums)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage onsite bay movements, ensuring all equipment adheres to compliance standards.
2. Prioritize safety and respect for all road users.
3. Conduct thorough driver and vehicle checks.
4. Perform regular inspections on vehicles and trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards. If any vehicle or trailer is found non-compliant, report it for necessary repairs or maintenance.
5. Identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
1. Mandatory Terberg experience.
2. Valid HGV Class 1 Licence.
3. Current CPC and digital driving card.
4. Driving licence must have no more than 6 minor points (excluding CDs, DDs, DRs, or INs).
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong work ethic and reliability.
7. Must be physically capable of fulfilling the role's demands.
