Job Title: Van Driver

Forte Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in the Basingstoke area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods via various delivery routes.
  • Assist colleagues by helping to load and unload their vehicles daily.
  • Complete daily run sheets and carry out daily vehicle checks.
  • Report any defects to the vehicle to your Line Manager.
  • Meet multiple customers and communicate with them to update them on delivery times.
  • Follow pre-planned routes accurately and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles and warehouse.
  • Carry out stock checks and replenish stock as needed.
  • Pick and pack orders efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Able to lift and handle heavy loads.
  • Courteous and possess good customer service skills.
  • Able to communicate and problem solve.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Patient, enthusiastic, and attention to detail.
  • Be prepared to undertake training as required.
  • Be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Hard working, loyal, and committed.
  • Have a flexible approach.
