Job Title: Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure designs meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement design processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior design engineers.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in CAD software, including Siemens NX, Rhino, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong skills in 3D modeling, 2D design documentation, and mechanical subsystem design.
  • Expertise in material selection and CNC programming.
  • Ability to create 2D renders and 3D virtual reality models.
  • Good understanding of ISO and BS standards for manufacture.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
