About the Role:
Our client is eager to welcome a motivated Customs Coordinator/Clerk to their Freight-forwarding Division. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Customs Team to ensure timely and efficient clearances.
Work Schedule:
Full-time - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Generate job files and accurately input data into customs software for timely submissions.
- Review data provided by clients against required sources and advise on any discrepancies.
- Prepare Import and Export declarations using customs software such as CDS.
- Monitor and track the status of declarations.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, addressing queries promptly and providing guidance on current customs procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Direct experience in Customs for a UK/Ireland based Freight Forwarder, Customs Broker, or Transport Company.
- Proficient in both Import and Export Clearances.
- Familiarity with customs software such as CDS, Destin8, CNS, Pentant, or CCS is advantageous.
- Understanding of HMRC compliance and regulations is preferred.
