Fraser Edwards Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Roofing Manager to join our team. As a Roofing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of operatives and supply chain, including sub-contractors, to deliver contract objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of company, client, and contract processes.
- Ensure the Health, Safety, and welfare of staff and third parties through regular safety training and toolbox talks.
- Drive productivity and provide technical input to the management of staff and contractors.
- Monitor completed works daily and conduct a daily review of planning for future appointments.
- Ensure a high quality of service is delivered to clients and residents through a good working knowledge of all trades.
- Effectively manage operatives, equipment, holidays, absences, timesheets, and technical support.
- Previous Social Housing and Local Authority contract management experience is required.
- Full UK driving license is essential, as a company van and fuel card will be provided.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the roofing industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
