Our client is a well-established international organization specializing in tax, estate, and financial planning services. As their tax division expands to support a flourishing financial advisory business, both domestically and globally, they are looking for a skilled professional.
The team is engaged in sophisticated income and capital tax planning, as well as compliance for high-net-worth individuals (HNWI), globally mobile clients, and Trusts.
In this role, you will oversee your own portfolio of clients, engaging in both review and preparation tasks, while also collaborating with senior team members on advisory projects.
The taxation team is evolving to bolster the successful financial planning operations, both in the UK and abroad. The team currently handles advanced income and capital tax planning and compliance for HNWI, internationally mobile individuals, and Trusts.
The incoming Senior Consultant will collaborate closely with tax leaders on a diverse array of income tax, inheritance tax (IHT), and capital gains tax (CGT) projects and compliance responsibilities.
This position often involves addressing residence and remittance basis inquiries, as our client provides financial planning support to UK expatriates worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong personal tax technical expertise.
- Exhibit excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Engage directly with clients and mentor junior team members.
- Assist in client advisory alongside financial planners.
- Contribute to the growth and strategic vision of the tax team.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and video conferencing.
- A minimum of 7 years in a tax-related role.
