Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to join our team at Residential Management Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and maintenance of our residential buildings and their communal areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the building's communal areas, including the laundry room, guest suite, garden, and grounds.
- Security and Safety: Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, monitor the wellbeing of residents, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, staff, and contractors to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the building.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve maintenance issues, and undertake minor maintenance tasks as required.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks using relevant IT systems, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential property management setting.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, ability to solve problems with diplomacy and empathy, and ability to undertake minor maintenance tasks.
- Education: Relevant qualifications or experience in facilities management, property management, or a related field.
