Fire and Security Service Engineer

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team in Bath, covering the South West region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems for both residential and commercial clients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated professional with expertise in fire and security systems to work on a variety of systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, servicing, and maintaining fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Conducting routine inspections, system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across a range of fire and security systems.
  • Providing expert technical support and advice to clients, ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of work completed.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer, with expertise in both fire and security systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
