We are seeking a skilled NetIQ Identity and Access Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive knowledge in NetIQ technologies, including NetIQ Access Manager (NAM), NetIQ Advanced Authentication, and Identity and Access Management (IdAM).

The successful candidate will possess robust technical capabilities in a scalable environment and will be adept at designing, implementing, and sustaining identity, access, and privilege management systems.

Familiarity with concepts such as Tiered Access Models, Zero Trust, Least Privilege Access, Single Sign-On, and Multi-Factor Authentication is highly advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and uphold architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for identity and access management (IAM).
  • Design and deploy NetIQ Identity Manager (IDM) solutions to oversee user identities, access rights, and provisioning workflows.
  • Spearhead the deployment and configuration of NetIQ Identity Manager (IDM) to automate user provisioning, deprovisioning, and synchronization tasks.
  • Integrate NetIQ products with external identity providers, directories, and applications utilizing industry-standard protocols such as SAML, LDAP, and OAuth.
  • Connect NetIQ products with enterprise directories (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP) and external identity providers to enhance authentication and authorization processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in NetIQ Identity Manager
  • Expertise in NetIQ Access Manager (NAM)
  • Knowledge of NetIQ Advanced Authentication
  • Understanding of Tiered Access Model Concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Familiarity with Identity Governance and Administration
  • Awareness of Security Best Practices

Salary: £60,000-70,000 per annum
