If so, we invite you to consider joining our dynamic team as a Lead Microbiologist within our Quality Department.

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Lead Microbiologist with prior experience in a laboratory setting within a regulated industry such as FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical Devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster teamwork aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for microbiological inquiries.
  • Ensure laboratory personnel are competent and compliant with established procedures and ISO standards.
  • Conduct microbiological assessments on production materials.
  • Oversee microbiological monitoring within production and filling areas.
  • Sample and analyze RO process water and seawater deliveries.
  • Investigate contaminated samples to identify bacterial profiles.
  • Maintain precise records and generate clear reports.
  • Uphold a clean working environment in accordance with regulations.
  • Execute and compile data from environmental testing.
  • Assist in internal investigations requiring microbiological analysis.
  • Participate in validation processes.
  • Support the management of microbiological documentation.
  • Advocate for safe and compliant work practices.
  • Act as a delegate for the QC Manager when necessary.
  • Promote strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the laboratory's 5S program.
  • Undertake additional reasonable duties as required.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of GMP and ISO standards, along with familiarity with quality management tools such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and CAPA. Minimum qualifications include A levels in a scientific discipline. Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain accurate laboratory documentation and communicate effectively across various departments.

This position entails a commitment of 39 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
