Harris Academy Wimbledon is a reputable secondary academy that provides an excellent education for children in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Established in 2018, the academy has grown rapidly and is now oversubscribed, with a strong community presence and waiting lists for entry into every year group.
We strive to promote high levels of academic achievement, encourage participation in extra-curricular activities, and empower students to make informed decisions.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Netball Coach, you will be responsible for:
- Coaching challenging netball sessions for students, including a weekly after-school club on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 PM
- Arranging and attending school sporting fixtures, including team fixtures and tournaments
- Completing the Midas minibus qualification as part of staff training
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Level 2 netball qualification
- A valid UK driving license holder for a minimum of three years
- Prior experience successfully coaching mixed-ability children aged 11+
- A passion for teaching young people and promoting their physical and emotional well-being
