Design Manager

Singh and Jones Ltd is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team in London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facade design and a sound knowledge of curtain wall, stick system, punch hole, and unitised systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide design solutions and materials to a wide range of projects across the UK.
- Lead and mentor the regional design team.
- Work closely with the senior management team to deliver on project KPIs.
- Request specific design information to draw GA designs.
- Lead own project work and deliver on a timely manner.
- Record and document the flow of each design process.
- Deal with design variations accordingly.
- Assist fellow teams on the delivery of projects.
- Attend pre-design and site setup meetings.
- Mentor and manage a team of internal and external designers.
- Actively involved in self-development by attending facade-related courses.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in Architectural Technology and a strong understanding of facade systems. They will be able to work effectively in a team and have excellent communication skills.
