Food Technologist Specialist

Job Title: Compliance and Food Technologist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Technologist to join our team at b3 jobs. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and legal obligations of our food supply aspects are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our quality manual and food safety documents, ensuring compliance with current food legislation.
- Support the successful completion of customer and third-party audits and visits, and participate in the investigation of complaints and food safety close calls.
- Challenge hygiene practices and standards to reduce food safety incidents, and train relevant personnel on quality management procedures and food safety.
- Gather and submit data for packaging waste regulations and EPR, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the technical department to develop and implement new processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong technical or quality background in food manufacturing, with a degree in a related field.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives, production processes, raw materials, allergens, and finished products.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience, and a dynamic working environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
