About the Role

As a Business Systems Analyst at Babcock International Group, you will play a critical role in supporting the development, maintenance, and support of engineering software applications. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing business requirements and delivering solutions that align with our IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation
  • Support with the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications
  • Assist with specified maintenance procedure
  • Install or remove software, using supplied installation instructions and tools including, where appropriate, handover to the client
  • Conduct tests, correct malfunctions, and document results in accordance with agreed procedures. Report details of all software items that have been installed and removed so that configuration management records can be updated

Requirements

  • IT or engineering related background
  • Experience in managing and maintaining IT solutions

  • Computer Aided Design

  • Computer Aided Manufacturing, including Computer and/or Direct Numerical Control
  • Design Analysis
  • Integrated Logistic Support and Technical Publications

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
