Job Description

Biomerics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team. As a key member of our production planning department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of medical devices to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the procurement of materials, services, and equipment required for production.
  • Manage relationships with assigned suppliers to achieve company business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain accurate schedules and inventory control systems to meet production demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in planning or production control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, such as Epicor or Job Boss.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing or medical device experience.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and forecasting skills, with a strategic focus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
