Nuclear Fuel Logistics Strategist

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is a global leader in nuclear energy, prioritizing safety, quality, and innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Nuclear Fuel Logistics Business Development Manager.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing the Global Logistics Nuclear Fuel strategy. You will be responsible for managing key relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring project outcomes are met, and driving success across all aspects of nuclear fuel logistics.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Global Logistics Nuclear Fuel Project Management program, overseeing all aspects from initiation to completion.
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with Nuclear Fuel business project managers and external suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Coordinate effectively with various teams across the organization to ensure that project scope is clearly defined and consistently met.
  • Communicate project updates, progress reports, and potential risks to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to Category Leads and Project Managers, contributing to their professional development and success.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external customers, building strong relationships and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive packaging and transport scopes for contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Risk Assessments and Supplier Contracts, mitigating potential issues and safeguarding company interests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or transportation within the nuclear industry.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage complex projects successfully.
  • Experience in vendor management and data analysis, with a strong understanding of logistics principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
