About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Service Worker II to join our team at Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and food preparation areas to the highest standards
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate tills and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Perform daily paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
  • Report any feedback, complaints, or suggestions to the line manager
Requirements
  • Food hygiene and Health and Safety level 2 certification or willingness to obtain
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Basic numeracy skills and ability to work accurately with cash
  • Transportation to and from work is required due to the remote location
  • DBS check required
