About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our Finance Team at Reed. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing our customer relationships and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payment Management: Ensure payments are made to agreed terms and maintain a clean debtor ledger.
  • Cash Allocation: Allocate cash received daily and handle associated queries in a timely manner.
  • Invoice Processing: Post manual and automated invoices to the ledger and ensure accuracy.
  • Debt Reporting: Run and review aged debtors and debtor reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with sales and customer service teams to resolve invoice queries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Credit Reporting: Follow routine credit reporting procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Statement Generation: Send out month-end and interim statements to customers and ensure timely delivery.
  • Overdue Accounts: Monitor overdue accounts, place accounts on stop, and commence legal action as necessary.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Produce payment information, graphs, and analysis as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in credit control and sales ledger administration.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
