Job Type: Permanent, Part-time

Location: Remote (Hybrid working available)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team at a well-established Supported Housing Charity in London. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our client's organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Maintain financial management control by adhering to established procedures and policies
  • Raise purchase orders and set up purchase invoices, ensuring accurate allocation and coding
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
  • Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
  • Proficiency in expenditure accounting and financial management control
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
