Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team at a well-established Supported Housing Charity in London. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our client's organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Maintain financial management control by adhering to established procedures and policies
- Raise purchase orders and set up purchase invoices, ensuring accurate allocation and coding
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
- Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Solid experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
- Proficiency in expenditure accounting and financial management control
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
