Cost Estimating Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Cost Estimating Manager to join our team at Leap29. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for leading our cost estimating team and providing expert guidance on cost estimation and management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the cost estimating team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality estimates and reports.
- Develop and implement cost estimation tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide expert guidance on cost estimation and management, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage and develop the skills and knowledge of team members, including training and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Honours degree or diploma in engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience in cost estimating, preferably in the oil and gas industry or low-carbon energy transition.
- Proven leadership and management skills, including delegation, coordination, and supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
