Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP - Ophthalmology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury, Oxfordshire. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our theatre team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in ophthalmology. You will be responsible for providing efficient and individualized patient care, working closely with our theatre team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our theatre team
  • Working closely with our theatre team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ophthalmology
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC/HCPC
  • Previous theatre experience within ophthalmology
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
  • A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focus service
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
