About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will work closely with our Chef Manager to prepare and serve high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain food hygiene and safety standards, carrying out risk assessments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard.
- Interact with residents, visitors, and colleagues in a friendly and approachable manner, promoting a positive dining experience.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective meal service.
Requirements:
- Experience in a catering environment, with a valid food hygiene certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
