Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Turning Point Scotland. As a key member of our Turnaround Residential Service, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to adults with complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work closely with individuals to develop personalized care plans, promoting their physical and emotional well-being. You will also contribute to a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating the person's goals and preferences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care delivery, including medication management and crisis intervention
  • Contribute to a culture of respect, compassion, and inclusivity, promoting the dignity and autonomy of individuals
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC
  • Experience working with adults with mental health needs, preferably in a residential setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
