Job Title: 7.5T Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5T driver to join our team at Gi Group. As a 7.5T driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to restaurants and cafes across the country.

The Role:

This is a temp-to-perm position, and the ideal candidate will have a clean full UK driving licence with LGV C1 entitlement, a valid Tachograph and CPC Card, and a minimum of 2 years' experience for insurance purposes. You will also need to be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake multi-drop deliveries nationally
  • Use handheld PDA machines to confirm deliveries
  • Work a rolling 6-week shift pattern, including early starts and varying days off
Requirements:
  • Flexibility and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confidence and competence using a PDA machine
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
