Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

Fruition IT is working with a well-established tech-first business that is undergoing a complete technical transformation. We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a bespoke SaaS product using Node JS as the backend framework, spun up into an AWS platform.
  • Work closely with agile teams to meet software deliverables and support continuous integration to enhance deployment.
  • Develop backend software in Java into a high load environment.
  • Collaborate with Terraform as the infrastructure as code and work in an AWS environment.

Requirements:

  • JavaScript development experience.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React on the frontend.
  • Good cloud exposure, ideally in AWS but Azure or GCP is also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MySQL.
