They are currently seeking a Project Engineer to collaborate with various stakeholders, including the end client, internal teams, and supply chain partners.
The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering technical services both on-site and in-house, encompassing design, production, and in-service support (including obsolescence management, Integrated Logistics Support, and engineering changes) for both new and legacy products, as well as providing repair services for customer equipment.
To qualify for this position, candidates should ideally possess an HNC/HND/degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline, along with prior experience in a comparable role. Candidates may currently be employed as Field Service Engineers or Support Engineers within a complex systems manufacturing environment, focusing on installations, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs of their products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/electronic engineering, with experience in complex systems, preferably within the defense sector.
Essential qualifications include:
- Proven experience in managing multiple engineering workflows across various technical disciplines and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated success in managing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Additional advantageous qualifications include:
- Experience in the UK Defense & Security sector.
- Expertise in electrical, electronic, or communications engineering disciplines.
- Experience in delivering technical services and products to the UK public sector.
Position Details:
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne area.
Salary: Up to £40k DOE plus benefits.
