Field Service Engineer Position Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our clients' equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems, including TTC controllers and PLC controls
  • Conducting machine diagnostics, mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and electronic fault finding
  • Commissioning and testing of equipment, including assembly and training of operators
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment, including filters and oils
  • Providing technical assistance to dealers and customers via telephone and email
  • Machine reconditioning and maintenance of workshop and yard

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar position
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in heavy plant mechanics or plant maintenance
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • CSCS card and IPAF desirable
  • Must live within 1 hour of Aylesbury

Remuneration:

  • Salary: £38,000 - £55,000
  • Working Hours: 8-5:30
  • Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
  • Overtime paid from door to door
  • Occasional nights away at short notice (could be up to 4 nights a week) around the UK and Ireland
  • Cost covered when staying away
