Warman O'Brien is collaborating with a premier Contract Research Organization (CRO) seeking a dedicated Biostatistician to enhance their Biostatistics team focused on Medical Devices.
Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Biostatistician II, you will engage in various tasks as a statistician/programmer for studies of moderate complexity, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery with high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing statistical components of case report forms
- Creating statistical analysis plans, defining derived data, and structuring statistical tables, figures, and data listings for clinical summary reports
- Conducting statistical analyses
- Interpreting data and presenting results
- Drafting the statistical methods sections of integrated study reports
- Providing input on protocols, including study design, sample size calculations, and patient randomization schemes
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree or higher in statistics
- Relevant experience in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field, particularly within the pharmaceutical or medical device sectors
- Comprehensive understanding of study designs and statistical analysis conventions across various therapeutic areas
- Familiarity with clinical trial methodologies, regulatory standards, statistics, and statistical software
- Proficient programming skills in SAS
- Strong interpersonal and project management abilities
- Competent computer skills
