Job Description

As a key member of the Intec Recruitment team, we are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Repair Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding and repair to component level our wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work through a prioritized list of repairs, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Take on ad hoc specialist repairs, utilizing technical expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Interact with the Support team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a work log on our MRP system, providing accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist with day-to-day activities, commensurate with your capabilities, within the company, particularly within Support and Test departments.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Technically capable with a clear history of working in a test and repair environment.
  • Excellent fault finding skills, with the ability to take corrective action and verification.
  • Good understanding of electronics, including analogue and digital, circuit diagrams, and component types.
  • Experience working with small electro mechanical assemblies.
  • Excellent soldering skills, mechanical assembly, and practical skills.
  • Computer literacy.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Academic electronics background (HNC/HND/degree).
  • Knowledge of Networking and communication systems (IP / Wi-Fi / GSM / serial).
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS).
Character Traits:
  • Logical thinker and problem solver.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Proactive and Self-Motivated.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
