Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of both facilities and production equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize Safety – Adhere to safe working practices within the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for equipment and facilities.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on-site as required.
  • Input necessary information into the Engineering Management System accurately.
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot faults effectively.
  • Address equipment malfunctions and resolve associated issues promptly.
Ideal candidates will possess experience in an engineering capacity, with a preference for those who are electrically inclined. However, mechanically skilled individuals with a robust electrical understanding will also be considered.

This position is suited for an organized, self-driven individual who works well in a team, is conscientious, and demonstrates a proactive attitude.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and stakeholders are essential. Previous experience with overhead cranes or hoists is advantageous.

This role encompasses both facilities maintenance and production equipment upkeep.

Working Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM Monday to Thursday, 8 AM - 2 PM on Friday.

In return, a competitive base salary of £35,000 is offered, along with a biannual bonus. Opportunities for overtime and participation in an on-call rota are available to enhance earnings.
