Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our team at First Military Recruitment. As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, including excavators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators.
  • Operate our 8t, 14t, 16t & 20t excavator machines.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Wear required PPE and ensure equipment is operated in line with safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, fuel consumption, maintenance logs, and daily operation reports.
  • Help in the preparation of construction sites by moving earth, rock, or materials and levelling ground surfaces in line with project specifications.

Requirements:

  • Valid license or certification for operating specific machinery (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent).
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a construction setting.
