You will work closely with our Legal Consumer and Product team to provide support on Spanish and US-related matters, leveraging your expertise in commercial law, consumer law, e-commerce law, advertising and marketing law, data protection law, and intellectual property law.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing French legal advice on consumer, e-commerce, advertising and marketing, data protection, and intellectual property law.
  • Working with the Legal, Consumer and Product team to provide consumer and general legal advice in the Spanish market.
  • Providing overall legal support to activities related to our international customers, particularly in e-commerce, advertising and marketing, and PR events.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and interpreting commercial contracts.
  • Managing Trainline's intellectual property portfolio and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in a similar role in an international setting.
  • French law qualified.
  • Private practice and in-house experience preferred, with a focus on tech and online law.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business.
  • Strong general understanding of consumer law, e-commerce law, advertising and marketing law, data protection law, and commercial contracts.
  • Demonstrable team player with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for your workload.
  • Fluent in French and English.

Desired:

  • Other EU languages, particularly Spanish.
  • IP law experience.
  • Ideal 5+ years PQE.
