About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Responsum Global Ltd. As a key member of our mechanical design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of innovative and sustainable mechanical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design low-energy, sustainable mechanical systems
  • Lead on building physics analysis for projects
  • Undertake calculations to inform design decisions
  • Produce design drawings and reports
  • Engage with specialists to integrate systems
  • Monitor progress on site and lead commissioning
  • Supervise and mentor graduate engineers
  • Develop relationships with architects and clients
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mechanical engineering, preferably with a CEng qualification and experience in a Mechanical Building Services role. You should have a passion for sustainable design and a keen interest in responding to the climate emergency.
