Role Overview

As a Legal Counsel within the Vodafone UK Competition legal team, you will deliver exceptional, solution-oriented legal advice on competition law and telecommunications regulations across all levels of the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the broader Legal team to address competition law inquiries.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders to identify competition law risks and provide timely responses.
  • Supporting the annual compliance plan for competition law, including training and compliance tracking.
  • Assisting in compliance matters related to projects and agreements with competitors and third parties.
  • Contributing to regulatory consultations and managing investigations and litigation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid foundation in relevant legal areas.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to communicate risks effectively.
  • A keen interest in Vodafone UK's business operations.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiation, with a proactive approach to legal challenges.
  • A university degree (second class or better) or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified legal professional with experience in private practice or in-house roles.
