About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Major Loss Adjuster to join our team in North London. As a key member of our Domestic Major Loss team, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of complex domestic losses, typically in excess of £100,000 in value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a portfolio of domestic major and complex losses, utilizing technical expertise and industry knowledge to ensure accurate and timely claims resolution.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and other adjusters, to coordinate and facilitate the claims process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve claims handling and resolution.
  • Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a domestic claims adjuster, ideally with CILA status or evidence of progression towards qualification.
  • Strong technical expertise and industry knowledge, with the ability to apply this knowledge to complex claims scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Full UK driving license, with a valid vehicle for business use.
