Financial Controller Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at KBM Resourcing Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing business in the Oil & Fuel industry in Scotland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial management of our fuel card division, working closely with the Finance Director to achieve department targets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and submission of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow for the fuel card division
  • Development of financial reporting to add value to the business, providing analysis and commercial insight
  • Monitoring fuel card division cashflow on a daily basis
  • Liaising with auditors and advisors regarding year-end audit process and financial accounts preparation
  • Maintaining process workflows, procedures, and management information for fuel cards division
  • Ensuring compliance with financial controls
  • Assisting in the management and maintenance of the company's ERP and finance systems

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA)
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular MS Excel with an aptitude for data analysis
  • Adaptable, personable, and an excellent communicator both written and verbally
  • Able to cope with peak workloads when required
  • Strong work ethic and maintain high standards
  • Demonstrating experience in accounting systems and general accounting
  • Particular knowledge of the P2P process
  • Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
