Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to cover the Loughborough area. This is a permanent, full-time role with a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday with no call outs required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of HGVs at customer sites.
  • Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and MOT preparation.
  • Identify faults using diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Complete necessary repairs, including brakes, clutches, engines, and transmissions.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any future maintenance needs.
  • Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional repair services.
Requirements
  • Level 3 HGV Technician qualification or equivalent.
  • Class 2 Licence is essential.
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, preferably in a mobile role.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities.
