Job Summary

This is a commercial and delivery-focused role that involves partnering with our commercial team to build a pipeline of opportunities and successfully win new and renew business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with the commercial team to co-own and deliver a business target.
  2. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the custom research division, ensuring the delivery of tailored research solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  3. Project Oversight: Oversee the design, execution, and delivery of custom research projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  4. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of research professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of research findings.
  6. Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in publications, staying abreast of industry developments and emerging research methodologies.

Requirements

  1. 10-15 years of experience in market research, with 5 years in a role with commercial responsibilities.
  2. Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering high-quality research projects.
  3. Proficient in research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
  4. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Academic qualifications in areas such as Economics, Political Science, or International Relations, or extensive work experience that has led to knowledge-building in these areas.
