About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stage Manager to join our team at Butlin's. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our day and evening entertainments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and supporting the technical team to deliver high-quality shows
  • Creating and providing detailed show reports to stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing stage plans and schedules to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Liaising with directors, performers, and other production team members to ensure seamless show delivery
  • Acting as security personnel to safeguard equipment and performers
  • Ensuring the correct storage and regular maintenance of scenery and scenic properties
  • Adhering to and implementing health and safety procedures

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in the entertainments industry
  • Minimum 2 years of stage management and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of technical procedures and systems
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Creative skills and the confidence to work independently
