Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our infrastructure and structural group. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for developing solutions for infrastructure projects, leveraging your technical skills and expertise in 2D/3D AutoCAD and REVIT for buildings design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce high-quality models and accurate drawings using design software
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to advance your skills and knowledge
  • Work on diverse infrastructure projects, applying your technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technology and industry best practices, applying your knowledge to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Ensure health and safety practices are incorporated into design
  • Manage a challenging workload and work to tight schedules
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career
Requirements
  • Relevant industry experience and competency in the use of 2D/3D AutoCAD and REVIT for buildings design
  • Proven track record of producing quality models and accurate drawings using design software
  • Experience with an R.C. detailing package (Multi-RC, CADS RC or equivalent) is desirable
  • Aware of current technology, industry best practice, and inventive in ways to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Relevant technical knowledge and understanding of buildings and structures
  • Ability to incorporate health and safety practice in design
  • Able to manage a challenging work load and work to tight schedules
  • Willingness to learn and receive training
  • A positive, proactive, and personable nature to blend in with the existing team of talented engineers
