About the Role

The Laminate Operator will play a crucial role in maximizing the throughput of the Laminate Cell, driving continuous improvement, and implementing lean manufacturing techniques. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the achievement of targets for the team, including quality standards and production rates
  • Operate machinery efficiently and in compliance with established procedures
  • Manage stock levels, issue materials, and adhere to work-to-lists and routed times
  • Identify and report deficiencies or concerns to the Team Leader
  • Ensure finished work and work-in-progress is placed in the correct dropping area
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements and demonstrate flexibility within the Laminate Cell and other departments
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a small team
  • Ability to work without supervision

Shifts

We operate a 4-day working week (37.5 hours). Available shifts include:

  • Day Shift - Monday to Wednesday - 07:00 to 17:00 & Thursday 07:00 to 16:30
  • Earlies - Monday to Wednesday - 06:00 to 16:00 & Thursday 06:00 to 15:30
  • Lates - Monday to Wednesday – 13:00 to 23:00 & Thursday 13:00 to 22:30

Paid shift allowance.
