We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Consultant to join our team at Avison Young. As a key member of our planning consultancy, you will play a critical role in delivering optimum planning permissions for our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and negotiation of planning applications, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
  • Provide expert planning strategy advice to clients, leveraging your knowledge of local planning authorities and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective planning appraisals, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Promote our clients' interests through local plan promotion and expert witness services.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in planning consultancy, with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Strong academic background, including a Master's degree in Town Planning (MRTPI) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Passion for planning and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
