Senior Engineer

Are you looking for a challenging role that combines technical expertise with business acumen? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our team at Spectrum IT Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd line IT support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues.
  • Work with Linux and Windows platforms, with a focus on deepening knowledge in both areas.
  • Manage patching processes using software like SCCM or Intune, and handle backup concepts and software.
  • Use commercial Incident, Problem, and Change management tools to ensure high availability of IT services.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in 2nd or 3rd line IT support.
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows platforms.
  • Experience with patch management software (Ivanti, SCCM/Intune).
  • Knowledge of backup concepts and software.
  • Experience with Dell and HP server hardware.
  • Experience with commercial incident, problem, and change management tools (BMC Remedy, Halo preferred).
